What do we do?

We produce Chinrests and Tailpieces by hand to individual order specification. Some of the most popular designs are shown in the sketches and pictures in this site. Any variations or personal requirements can usually be supplied.

What do we use?

We use genuine Boxwood, Ebony, Rosewood and African Blackwood.

We produced Chinrest fittings to our own specifications. The standard fittings are nickel silver plated but direct deposit gold or silver fittings can be supplied upon request.

The sketches are generally of the violin version. The viola version (where applicable) is sometimes a slightly different design.

It is essential to define your exact requirements as each item is hand made to your specific order.

  Outline of non standard instruments (violas and small sizes).
  Viola barrel lengths.
  Tailpiece style, length and fret etc..
