John Dunne Standard for the violin

This was named after John Dunne, a violin teacher in London in the 1920s. It is an unusual design – side mounted with a “beak” over the tailpiece. Although it appears a most beautiful delicate design, the use of properly seasoned, genuine boxwood and the careful design make it an extremely practical chinrest.

Mirage for the violin

This design is suitable for players that want a very low, flat chinrest. It is lower than the Bergonzi and has less curvature than the Bergonzi. It is available in a violin or viola version.
